"Care, not in my mums case"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

First of all, there are some wonderful caring nurses and consultants in the hospitals who do the best job they can in difficult circumstances. But that can't make up for the treatment my mum has received in the care of hull royal and castle hill. Whilst in their care she has suffered a broken rib, many hours of waiting and wondering. Staff who were too busy to look after her when she was hallucinating due to the effects of infection. No time to bring her a blanket she she was shivering with cold. Administering double dose of a strong drug. Finding her on the floor unconscious after leaving her on a commode when she is clearly too weak to be left alone. Having to stay with her and administer her parkinsons meds as none available on ward.No continuity of care with different doctors every time. Three admissions and she gets more poorly each time. I will be making a formal complaint despite the distress we feel as a family as my mum deserves better
