"bending the rules for travellers"

I had major abdominal surgery and at the end of visiting time my visitors were ushered out and the were left waiting at the doors for visiting to start. Yet in the bay next to me I had a young female traveller and she had 9 visitors at once some of which were sat right up against my bed, who were coming and going all day and using the toilet facilities meant for patients. On my fourth night if not sleeping I thought id have a good nights sleep, at 11 the lights were out and this female was nowhere to be seen so I fell sound asleep only to be awoken at 12:50 with her asking for food whilst she had her boyfriend and a female friend with her. Neither were asked to leave. At around 3am the female left but her boyfriend remained all night and I didnt manage to get to sleep until going on 6am due to their talling and messing about. The nurse had told him it was ok to stay which the day staff the next day wasnt happy about so they asked him to leave which took great effort only for him to come back in 2 hours later. How is this fair when everyone elses family has to stick to strict guidelines. I have tubes coming out of my stomach and I dont feel great about walking round and having this strange man watching us poorly women and making us uncomfortable. The nursing staff is great but one nurse has said its ok for this to happen and no one is doing anything about it. Why should the rules be bent for this one person
