"Gastroenterologist"

About: Worthing Hospital

On Monday i saw a new Gastroenterologist at Worthing hospital. I was referred under the 2ww. They were the nicest, most understanding person i have ever seen as a patient and i am sorry i missed their name. They listened to my concerns, helped me rationalise my symptoms and mostly offered great support. If more doctors were able to do this the patients would feel so much better. Alleviating worries and anxieties goes a long way in treating illness. They never once made me feel uncomfortable. I left the consultation with the feeling that a huge weight had been lifted. Whoever they are, i would like to say a very big thankyou. And thankfully i did not need any further treatment at present

We would like to thank you for providing such positive feedback about your recent experience and are pleased to hear you do not need further treatment at present. Our staff work very hard to deliver first class, patient centred care and it is lovely to hear that the Gastroenterologist you saw listened to your concerns and was understanding and supportive. Your comments have been passed onto the Clinical Director for Specialty Medicine who will be delighted to share them with the consultant concerned.
