"Rowan ward"

My Dad spent his last six weeks on Rowan ward and I cannot praise the staff there enough, they were fantastic. It gave me great comfort to know that he was on a ward with dedicated and professional staff and such a lovely atmosphere. Every member of staff treated both my Dad & family with compassion respect and dignity, they listened, chatted, laughed and sympathised with us. Nothing was too much trouble, they took the time to ensure any worries and concerns about his illness were clarified and kept us involved and informed at each stage. The palliative care champions were outstanding, this is the NHS at its very best. Many, many thanks to all of the staff
