"Dedication gives confidence"

I have always had faith that when and if I needed to use the NHS the care and services would be there and I am extremely impressed with the treatment we have just experienced following my partners heart attack. I cannot praise highly enough the ambulance staff who arrived at my partners work, the staff on reception at A and E and the ambulance lady who was behind the desk who took me to Cardiac Assessment Centre (because he had not been taken to A and E). The two nurses who were on duty that day in the assessment room were very very approachable, professional and made the whole experience as calm as possible. Every thing was explained and we were always kept informed on what was going on and what was going to happen next. Finally he was moved to a superb ward Oakley Ward. To use my partners phrase they were ' Spot on', you can tell that nothing is any trouble, all staff are very professional, welcoming, approachable I just could not fault anything about our experience. This has been a very scary time for us but the attention and care that my partner received has been 100% and I cannot thank them enough.
