About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Once again whilst visiting the hospital, there was an abundance of patients and visitors smoking in all the areas marked "no smoking" whilst I can understand that this may be hard to police surely there is something that the powers that be can do to improve this situation!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am sorry to learn that the patients and visitors smoking on site have upset you. However, please be assured that the hospital operates a No Smoking Policy, we have signs throughout the Trust and all staff members are asked to stop people smoking in inappropriate places. Whilst we cannot physically stop people from smoking, we do encourage for them to not do it on site.
