"Un answered phone"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Iv been trying to make an appointment regarding my eyes. Iv been on the phone from 8.30 every hour up until 4.00pm. It rang fit 20 mins , then the line went dead. My appointment was cancelled in June and I have not received a new appointment and I feel my eye condition has changed. I no the clinic is busy, but surely there's someone there to answer the phone. There's history of glucoma in my family and that is what I'm being treated for .

Dear Ann We’re really sorry to learn of the major problems you have experienced in getting through to our ophthalmology department. This is isn’t at all good enough.
