What I liked
My son, (aged 3 Months) was sent to LRI Ward 10 by the A&E Pediatric Registra at George Eliot Hospital. The staff at LRI ward 10 were brilliant, as were the surgeons and aneithitist. We had a named nurse looking after our son all night and handed over to another named nurse for the day shift. The night nurse was fantastic, calmed us down, explained everything as best they could and if they didn't know the answer, the surgeon did. Everyone allowed the time for us to ask questions and make decisions without being rushed and everything was explained throughly so we understood it. We were both able to stay overnight with our son and were shown around the ward and given food and drinks. I couldn't sing their praises more, they were the best.
