"ward 31"

I started on ward 31 for a few days, and I have to tell everyone how hard all the staff work the atmosphere is lovely lots of friendly conversations go on between staff and patients and if like me I got to know some of the staff really well and I never thought I'd ever say it but I had quite a few laughs in hospital curtesy of the staff this includes the wards sisters and the care assistants who were never to busy to smile and chat. With the exception of one nurse who was very grumpy and rude to everyone, and often spoke to us in our room as if we were in trouble or just too simple to understand, when this was mentioned to other staff they would just says it's just the way this nurse is, and they always been like that. But I won't let this detract from singing the praises of this very hard working team, my time in hospital was necessary but I felt safe and very well cared for.
