Response from Maidstone District General Hospital

Dear Mr Ingram, thank you for posting your comments. We were sorry to learn that you developed a bladder infection following your visit to the hospital. We would encourage you to speak with your GP in the first instance, if you require any further advice on this issue, or, alternatively, if you are currently under the care of the urology team, please do not hesitate to speak with them when you next attend the hospital. Please be assured that providing a urine specimen does not place a patient at risk of developing a bladder infection. Kind regards, The PALS Team.
