In March of 2014 I was referred for a scalp cyst removal after the GP insisted on a rather unnecessary head scan. This resulted in an added delay, after which the GP referred for surgery at Holly House Hospital. This referral was cancelled by Barts Health, who referred me to a dermatology clinic. The dermatologist referred for surgery but I was never put on the list. Nine months on from the original GP referral I have been sent a letter for a dermatology follow us which the clinic secretaries claim is in fact a mis-typed surgery appointment. This is shambolic and far exceeds the 18 week target set out by the NHS constitution.
