"Young child visit to a and e"

About: Kettering General Hospital

Treated my son very quickly despite being busy . Young son taken to a separate child assessment ward/area with amenities etc within the a and e department, so he felt comfortable and secure . Staff extremely polite and helpful with good explanation of what was happening and expected waiting times . Care we received was excellent from all members of staff we came into contact with including reception staff , nurse and doctors . Thank you .

Thank you for taking the write to the department regarding the care your son received when you had cause to visit. The staff in the department work hard to deliver good care and it is especially pleasing that you found the paediatric area comfortable and secure. As a department the views of patients and their relatives are important to us in order that we can continue to develop our services and provide excellent care.
