"Ashford Hospital Eye Clinic/ward"

I write in praise of the Ashford Eye Clinic and Ward. I have had two Cataract Operations done there this year and I cannot thank everyone involved in my treatment enough. All members of staff there are exceptional for their outstanding friendliness and ability to put patients at ease. From the receptionists, assessments and nursing staff, final operations through to discharge, all the patience and understanding I personally received and witnessed other patients receiving (many needing help) was exceptional. The whole atmosphere is very cheerful and considering how hard they are obviously all working they seem to all manage to smile! The thought of eye surgery is very worrying to most people, and to be instantly put at ease during your first visit towards procedure is wonderful. I have written in praise of Ashford Hospital before. It is a wonderful hospital - all areas seem to be exceptionally friendly. I had two hip replacements in 2012 and 2013 and my treatment has been amazing. All so successful and again, all hospital staff there outstandingly friendly and caring. Orthopaedic surgeons fantastic. I have had reason to visit many hospitals on account of other people and would like to stress again that Ashford really does stand out and has a wonderful reputation for all the reasons I have mentioned.
