"massive thank you"

About: Wexham Park Hospital

Huge thank you to two members of staff who were working on paediatric a&e on the night of July 22nd. We arrived at 1am for my wife in a&e and had to bring our 9 month old daughter with us. They saw us in the ward and took little ally under their wing, providing a room and cit, toys and playing and looking after her through the night. This meant I could be with my wife and we didn't have to worry about her. It was way beyond the call of duty from the girls and made a very hard night manageable. Can't thank them enough.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent experience in A&E with your wife. I am pleased to read that the A&E team responded to the needs of your whole family and were able to assist with keeping your daughter safe and cared for leaving you able to be with your wife. I know that Jo Hawkes and James Rolfe, Lead Nurses for A&E will be delighted to share your positive feedback and thanks with the team, and particularly the staff that worked that night. I do hope your wife is now recovering well Kind Regards Claire Marshall Associate Director of Patient Experience and Public Involvement
