"Hestercomb Ward"

I was admitted for surgery and from the nurse who admitted me, to the surgeon who explained what he was going to do, to the anaesthetist, to the staff in recovery and to all those who cared for me on Hestercomb Ward - thank you. I was nervous and worried and throughout the procedure and care I was treated with the utmost respect, care and consideration. What I thought was going to be a very stressful experience was well managed by a group of caring friendly people. The facilities were fantastic - I'm sure better than a private ward. Thank you for such fantastic care. Better than a hotel! PS also a particular member of staff in the Surgical Investigation unit too!
