"Emergency operation following scuba diving related..."

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

On Sunday 6th July, I had a bad fall while wearing scuba gear and smashed my right knee. The staff at all levels were kind considerate and professional. Staff in the ambulance kept me alert and were gentle in handling me. All the ladies and gentlemen in A and E were professional and kind. The staff in the Acute Surgical Unit were very impressive! These people work really hard and I cannot praise them more highly. They are admitting people late in the night, and taking readings all through the night also. Very dedicated people. Following my surgery they were incredibly considerate. I was lucky to be looked after by them. I work in clinical services also, within the NHS. Think I have learned something about patient care from this!
