"Cystoscopy"

Asked to come in at 1 pm and went into theatre at approx. 4 pm, at the doctor told me it would be as I was last on the list. It was a very busy ward with what seemed to be orthopaedic patients and urology patients. I have never seen nurses work so hard and be pleasant and cheerful to everyone. During the time there I saw a few patients go in for their surgery and come out. I also saw the doctors and anaesthetists visit the patients. Rarely was a curtain put around them so that they tended to whisper and, in my case, I found it difficult to hear them. It was not good communication, but I suppose that is what I should have expected. But praise and thanks,to the nursing staff who worked brilliantly together.
