"Fast, friendly and effcient service"

About: Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road)

I was seen in A&E on Saturday night (received, tested, examined, diagnosed and discharged within 2 hours) and referred to VRE on Sunday. I had to wait a while in VRE and it was irritating when I was told I was next and then another patient was called in, but priority is the doctor's decision. Staff were very helpful and I felt reasonably relaxed despite being anxious. My problem and treatment were explained in straightforward terms. This was my third visit to Moorfields and each time I have been impressed with their service and standards.

Response from Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road)

Thank you for this positive feedback. Unfortunately, patients do sometimes have to wait in VRE as a function of its emergency nature, but I'm glad to hear that you are happy overall with your experience at Moorfields.
