"Disappointed by my surgeon"

About: Ashford Hospital

As lovely as everyone on the ward was I was very displeased by my surgeon. I had MPFL reconstruction on one knee and during my consultation he seemed rather aloof and on the day of surgery I got the strong feeling he just wanted to get it over with quickly. It really seemed like he was rushing everyone else. On top of this my recovery was nothing like he said it would be. In fact I was given vital information afterwards while in physiotherapy that I really should have been given before hand. Ended up having to go to a private Osteopath to get full flex in my knee back, which was very important to me as I play full contact combat sports. I'm now in a position where I may need to have the same surgery on my other knee. I know where I definitely won't be going.
