"I was a patient on ward 40 at the RVI a few weeks..."

I was a patient on ward 40 at the RVI a few weeks ago for surgery. Having never been in hospital before I was extremely anxious and scared however I could not fault the care and compassion all the nursing staff and doctors gave me. I was instantly put at ease from the minute I arrived on the ward. Although all staff I encountered were fantastic I would like to give special thanks to the fantastic 3 nurses who looked after me and ensured I had a speedy recovery. Nothing was never too much trouble, even though they were constantly rushed of their feet day and night!!
