About: John Radcliffe Hospital

I have a kidney problem and often get urine infections that need to be treated immediately as they are a threat to my remaining kidney. I have had an infection for the past 2 weeks and my antibiotics haven't been working. Today I went into A&E in agony as I usually do when this happens. I saw the nurse and she was unbelievably rude to me telling me it was a 'minor issue' that was 'wasting their time'. She could tell that I was in pain and she made me feel utterly stupid when I felt vulnerable and afraid. I have never ever seen a GP before going to the hospital first in this instance but the nurse proceeded to make me a GP appointment without my consent and then sent me on my way. I left feeling completely disrespected by your staff and am extremely disappointed.
