"Coloconscopy yesterday"

Had a colonoscopy yesterday. Not something anyone would particularly look forward to. However I discovered it was a consultant I had seen before who was carrying out the procedure so it was really nice to see a familiar face. He was the kindest most reassuring, most lovely doctor who put me completely at ease. I came out thinking that a visit to the dentist is more traumatic and with my dignity well and truly intact!
