Re: An injury I sustained on Sunday 9th March2014 in Melksham. I am writing to you to express my deep gratitude to all of the NHS staff who helped me following a fall on the above date when I tripped and broke my wrist. The paramedic and the two ambulance staff who attended were wonderful and took a good deal of time assessing the situation and calming me down from the shock I was experiencing before transferring me to Bath. On arrival at Accident and Emergency I was x-rayed almost immediately and the doctors and nurses there could not have been kinder or more caring. Following plastering your staff were not happy with the low reading of my blood pressure and placed me in the recovery section for a couple of hours for the situation to be kept under observation. Once again the staff could not have been kinder and provided tea and food for my husband and me. On the following Friday 15th March I attended the fracture clinic at RUH where once again I was looked after extremely well. The staff who carried out the x-ray and the gentleman who actually plastered my arm were very gentle, caring and reassuring. I realise you are managing a huge operation at the RUH but if there is away in which my gratitude can be passed on to the staff I would be most grateful. Yours faithfully Margaret Crook
