"Careless staff"

About: Royal Free Hospital

Positives: seen relatively quickly (three hours total). Negatives--two issues: 1. The antibacterial gels in the hallway were all empty. Both nurses at a&e that I approached just shrugged this off. I am fairly sure they did not alert anyone else to the issue. I saw people press the dispensers unsuccessfully, as I did, meaning that there was likely transmission of germs from touching the same surface. 2. Received a box of antibiotics to take two tablets twice a day for seven days. That's 28 tablets. On coming home realised only 14 tablets were given. Called back to clarify. Turns out the dosage should have read 1 tablet twice a day. The woman apologised, which is nice, but given I could have overdosed, not nearly acceptable.

Very sorry to hear you were given the incorrect dosage and that the antibacterial gels had run out. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, will ensure that this is fed back to the correct department.
