"Ongoing care for daughter with heart condition"

Our daughter is under shared care with Darent Valley Hospital and the Evelina Children's Hospital. The care from diagnosis of my daughter's heart condition when I was 20 weeks pregnant to now (she is 18 months old) has been excellent. In particular, the sonographer who picked up at my 20 week scan a heart condition that is often missed at that stage of pregnancy, the midwife that accompanied me and my husband by ambulance from Darent Valley to St Thomas' when I went into labour early, the amazing staff at the Children's Resource Centre at DVH who monitored my daughter weekly before her open heart surgery and who arranged ambulances to transfer us to the Evelina when they felt cause for concern and the ongoing liaison between the cardiology department at the Evelina and the Children's Resource Centre.
