"Dedicated Stroke Unit"

About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

After having suffered a stroke I was taken by ambulance from Basingstoke to Winchester to the stroke unit. I cannot praise the treatment and care I received enough, the staff are wonderful and really dedicated it is not just a job but a vocation. I cannot thank them enough. Also I was visited at home by the Therapy Team after discharge, all round a wonderful service.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments on NHS Choices. I am pleased to hear that you had a positive experience and that you are happy with the care you received. I will ensure that these kind comments are shared with teams involved, who I am sure will greatly appreciate them. Mary Edwards, Chief Executive Email: mary.edwards@hhft.nhs.uk
