highly unsatisfactory when elderly parents in and out last year.as live away from preston communication was important. rang many a time to get info, could never get to speak with staff looking after my dad, no return phonecalls. staff appeared disinterested when asked about discharge and info for reasons of admission and treatment, realise staff are very busy, but lack of concern appeared apparent. not nice to see a grown man cry. dad usually discharged with no one at home, no support offered, on one occasion at least, no arrangements made for his regular carers to make their calls when discharged. made last period of my dads life more distressing for him and close family members. occasional exceptions and noted some staff genuinely caring. say no more, could go into more detail...
