"Rubbish admission process"

Dying cancer patients have to spend 2 to 3 hours waiting to be seen in the A & E department and then admitted onto the EAU Ward until a bed is found, can take two days or more. The admissions policy at Kings Mill is disgusting, these patients should not have to suffer waiting in this way to get a bed. Our own family experience was worse, Casualty discharged and my mother died two days later, refusing to go through the process again to get the IV antibiotics for her Chest infection. Very disappointed with admission process.
