"inpatient still waiting to be seen by orthopaedic..."

About: University Hospital Of North Tees

Have now been admitted twice via emergency ambulance. First visit had xray and saw consultant, then sent home with pain killers an outpatient appointment for 25 days later. Pain increased and gp called out who waa shocked id been sent home. Two days later collapsed in pain, admitted as emergency again but after four days in hospital still no visit from orthopaedic consultant and have to remain in hospital for pain relief. Very disappointed to say the least and very angry. Nurse's are first class and wonderful professional ppl. However the chances of seeing a orthipedic consultant is as much likely as winning the lottery. If not seen by the next couple of days it will be a week without a visit and a week in hospital just to manage pain relief and I'll make a formal complaint which no doubt will be ignored to as is my pain and suffering by the orthopaedic department. Would certainly advise others to go private and find a different hospital if you're in agony as they wont deliver no orthodontic consultancy in north tees unfortunately. And im still here waiting two emergency admissions later! !!
