"Visit to A and E"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

Thankyou so much to a particular member of staff - I arrived this morning at 7:15 ish with a foot injury - I was sent straight to Xray - I was hobbling out with a diagnosis after roughly 21 minutes - pain killers in hand. I had expected a long wait and very little sympathy - I cant fault the care which I received and the kindness shown to me... Thankyou So much to this member of staff and the team who work extremely hard - In a sometimes very difficult environment. Great service and if it can be a wonderful experience going to the hospital then i guess I will visit again - but hopefully not for a long time! Thankyou

Thank you for your comments posted on the Patient Opinion website regarding your care at the Accident and Emergency Department of the Manchester Royal Infirmary in September of this year. We sincerely apologise for the delay in responding to your comment.

It was very kind of you to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects their hard work and dedication. It was reassuring to hear that you received the care and kindness from the staff that alleviated your worry about the poor treatment you were expecting to receive. We can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the A&E manager and the staff involved.
