Walked in last week with splinter in thumb which had become infected. Seen immediately by friendly male nurse who removed splinter, dressed thumb, and gave tetanus shot & course of antibiotics. In & out in half an hour. Excellent service - long live Rothbury Community Hospital and the NHS.
