My wife was taken ill at home 5/9/2014. The lady first responder was very very good , caring, considerate and very profesional and really helped my wife be calm whilst waiting for the ambulance to arrive. the ambulance guys were great and i cannot praise them enough for the very caring professional way they helped my wife. The real heroes of this review are the Staff in A&E. these Ladies & Gentlemen are terrific very professional very caring whilst working under - in my opinion - unbelieveable pressure. these guys looked after my wife brilliantly and their care for me when my wife took a turn for the worse was great.I cannot praise them enough for what they did they even enquired after my wife when she was moved on through the hospital real Professionals. The ladies in H.D.U. ( i only saw Ladies) were very calm , cool, collected but always had a smile and answered all the questions a worried husband asked. my wife spent two days in this ward and really progressed under their care. my wife was moved to Carleton/Coleby ward. Now the nursing staff here work under appalling pressure are short of equipment but carry on always with a smile, always helpful, always courteous, are very professional and very very helpful. To the Management of Lincoln County Hospital - you have an excellent team working for you from bottom to top every single member of your team is great. Please pass on Our best regards to each and every member. If you increased their pay 10 fold it would still not compensate the work these Ladies 7 Gentlemen put in to making Lincoln County Hospital the best in the UK. Ian and Heather Thwaites
