"Genuinely caring and compassionate"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Children's Ward

(as a relative),

My nephew aged 3 was admitted today for manipulation of his forearm under General anaesthetic. From the moment we arrived the nursing staff were extremely caring & compassionate. I am a charge nurse in another trust in Scotland however I work at the opposite side of the spectrum.

Many people are quick to criticise but today I only witnessed caring, respectful professionals caring for my nephew - the nursing assistants were fantastic especially the nurse with blonde long hair & the staff nurse Laura.

You all made a very difficult day bearable & I am so impressed with how everyone was genuinely caring & compassionate, very well done
