"I recently had to visit Trafford ..."

About: Trafford General Hospital

(as the patient),

Anything else?

I recently had to visit Trafford A&E with my partner who suffered a sporting injury, the standard of care of totally unacceptble. The receptionist was sitting reading a magazine and couldn't care less about the patients, she was extremley rude and unprofessional. The triage nurse was changed 3 times whilst we were there, the information clearly was not passed on and subsequently patients were seen two or three times. The A&E is undergoing building work and is a complete mess, one patient urinated in the department - which was left for over 30 minutes. One gentleman was brought by ambulance and just dumped in the waiting room, he was clearly confused but was ignored and left facing a wall in a wheelcahir, the staff were totally disrespectful and had a 'do not care' attitude. Once my partner was seen for the third time by trige, the nurse was not sure if the x-ray department was open, she telephoned through to check and ended up gossiping with a collegue before asking us to sit back in the waiting room.

These are just a few examples of the inefficent, poor hospital that is Trafford General. I have been several other times for various other things and it has always been the same, this is not a one off. I would avoid Trafford at all costs.
