"A&E West Mid"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

A&E area was filthy. There was a large area of dried blood on one of the seats, there was a large pool of blood or urine on the floor between the seats and the department was totally overcrowded with patients waiting to be seen. I do not know how the staff there cope. On the other hand the staff were excellent, they were attentive and made you feel at at ease. I cannot praise them enough. You need to employ more nurses, admin and cleaners to clean up the area where patients are bleeding etc. There are signs all over the hospital advising to wash your hands, and gel dispensers but when is the point when the place is not clean.
