"Excellent medical care received very promptly"

After a pretty awful night of being up with our 2 yr old daughter coughing and wheezing I telephoned 111 first thing on Saturday morning- about 7am. We were staying in Devon for a long weekend away so being away from home we didn't know where to take her but were very worried and knew she needed some medical attention asap. After a detailed phone call with a lovely nurse, we then received a phone call from 1 of the Drs at Exmouth who asked us to come straight down to the hospital. They didn't open until 8 but we we're let in by a very friendly receptionist before then to wait inside. We were seen by a dr promptly and after a quick nebuliser our daughter already sounded much better. She was prescribed antibiotics and steroids was feeling better within hours and we felt a lot less worried. We were able to carry on our mini break thanks to the excellent service we received and would like to thank all involved for a very smooth and efficient service. Well done the NHS!
