"Care in heartlands hospital endoscopy"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Oncology

(as a relative),

My mum has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that is inoperable. She had her endoscopy appointment at 0945 am.

When we got there, a fantastic nurse named Zofia was absolutely wonderful. She was attentive and professional and treated my mum with the utmost dignity and respect. She is a credit to the NHS and if more care professionals were like her, the NHS would be near perfect.

A BIG thank you to the endoscopy unit as a whole but especially to Zofia. She, as I have already said, is a credit to healthcare.

I am sorry to hear about your mum's condition. At such a difficult time for you, it is very generous to spend time giving us feedback. I am delighted that you received such good care and have forwarded your message on to Zofia and the endoscopy unit.

Many thanks and regards

Matthew
