"car parking"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

Car parking can be hard to find and expensive, so imagine how annoyed I was to find a member of staff park up their motorbike in the short stay carpark near children's outpatients. Cover it up for the night and walk off going nowhere near the pay and display machine. Staff have designated carparks to use and should not be taking up visitor spots.

Thank you for your comments. Staff who use their own vehicles for travelling to and from work must usually park on staff car parks and pay monthly for their parking rather than using pay and display machines. There are however sometimes exceptions where staff working a night shift are allowed to park on visitor car parks which are nearer to the main buildings for security purposes but this is only during certain hours, usually between 7pm and 8:45am. I will raise your concerns with the appropriate manager so that this can be monitored.
