"Tale of 2 hospitals"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

Inability to deliver histopathology results in a timely manner. two appointments for Histopathology results were a waste of time as the results were not available. For a cancer patient waiting another week amounts to torture. The pathology labs obviously only see them as samples and don't appreciate the dress they is caused by their failure to meet deadlines. If I am charitable the issue is probably that some faceless administrator who has all the facts figures and statistics keeps telling the head of the path service that they have enough staff, if this is the case I would like to point out the error of that assumption. Before bringing radiotherapy to DRI sort your path labs out. want to be top 10% need to crawl out of the bottom 10% first. Web site no resumes of the medical staff treating you, how are you supposed to choose your consultant if you can't find any information on them. And yes you do have a choice, hasn't been offered yet. Mnagement of the Jasmine centre needs to shake things up a bit as the availability of test results is shockingly poor. When on ward G5 what a difference amazing treatment couldn't fault it.
