"Three visits and a perfect experience each time"

About: Colchester General Hospital

I broke my shoulder in a fall on Sunday, 31st August. the visit to A&E was very professional and quick,. the initial consultation, X ray and then dealing with the problem were handled swiftly. All the nurses and receptionists were lovely. I returned a week later to see the Orthopedic Consultant who diagnosed the break and set me up for a procedure the following Thursday Everyone we met during this visit were very caring although extremely busy and stretched. We felt very well cared for. On Thursday I went to the ECC who prepared me for the procedure. The deputy Sister was fantastic as she had a long list and no spare beds. The pathway to the operation and afterwards was just great. I was very well looked after all the way through. Throughout my journey I have met professional caring people and cannot speak highly enough of the attention that I have received - thank you.
