"I am delighted with the caring staff"

About: Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary / Cardiology

(as a relative),

My Husband was taken here from the Jubilee after having a stent fitted following a heart attack. He was given very good after-care for 4 days.

We were both kept informed about medication and after-care and since leaving the follow up has also been good. He has made a full recovery which I think is down to all the good care.

I am also attending the physio department at Dumfries hospital and I am delighted with the caring staff. Well done Royal Infirmary.

Dear Nectar513

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell people about your recent excellent care experience at Dumfries General Hospital. Receiving positive feedback means so much for the staff and provides such a boost for them. Staff work hard daily in a busy and diverse environment, never knowing what the day will bring, coping with a variety of situations from very sad to very happy ones. However, whatever staff are faced with their ultimate aim continues to be providing person centred quality care for everyone. This is why your thank you is so welcome and makes us all smile.

I am pleased to hear your husband has made a good recovery after his heart attack and trust you will also continue to improve whilst attending the pyhsiotherapy department.

I will share your comments with the relevant clinical teams.

kind regards

Hilary
