had my operation 22/5/14 still not back to normal yet i seem to have had lots of complications starting the day after the operation, had to go back to a&e with prblems after 4 hours to meet (government) targets I was moved to a seated waiting area with a drip attached to my arm in ward next door to a&e with 2 other people had to see the urology doctor no privacy then readmitted to another ward with an infection. from may till july every week I had to visit my gp due to many more infections and bleeding. in early july having had my follow up appointment changed many times as I was going on holiday I had to see a sister who said my bladder was inflamed and with more drugs it would calm down if it didn't they would have a look with a camera after my holiday, my appointment is next week to the see a specialist. but after my flight I was bleeding again so off to hospital in Thailand they went straight in with the camera and showed me the bladder was full of blood cots and the urethea was blocked and I may need to have another t.u.r.p.operation if the drugs they have given me for a month don't work. so it seems a holiday in Thailand is what you need to see a doctor but then of course I had to pay for it as the insurance wouldn't cover it. so be very careful before you say yes to an operation think long and hard and don't rush and find out who is doing the surgery!
