"Not given any details of when or where I was going to be treated"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I was not given any details of when or where I was going to be treated by my doctor and still was none the wiser when my appointment letter for a referral came through as I did not know anything about having a APC clinic in Telford but the overall time it took to get my appointment was good.

Dear Keen449

I am disappointed to hear that you were not kept informed of where your referral was being passed to. All GPs have been supplied with Patient Choice leaflets which we ask them to pass to any patients who are being referred via TRAQS to ensure that they are aware of what to expect next. TRAQS also write to any patients who have been referred to APCS and I am disappointed that you did not receive the letter we sent.

However, I am pleased that you did not have to wait too long to receive an appointment and that the overall waiting time was good.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, it is much appreciated as it helps us to develop the service further for the benefit of the patients within Telford and Wrekin area.
