"I was very impressed with care at Leighton Hospital"

About: Leighton Hospital / Diabetic medicine

(as the patient),

I stayed in Leighton Hospital for 15 days due to my diabetes. The care given was excellent as I was informed constantly about the care I was being given.

I wrote a letter and card to thank everyone for the care I received. I enjoyed my stay in hospital as it was not unpleasant. I had an injection a day and had to have my insulin monitored. I used to be a nurse so I was very impressed with the care, clean ward and the great food provided as there was a good variety.

The consultants said they were trying to find a new drug and the follow up has been brilliant. I would like to thank the medical staff, the nursing staff, the domestic staff and the pharmacy staff.
