Well after experiencing pain in my lower bottom back and belly I was extremely concerned as it was more noticeable on one side so I decided to phone up the NHS 111 to see what they had to say. A doctor informed me to go and have a ultrasound because I have not had one. I got my mother to phone up LWH emergency room as my concerns were of a ectopic pregnancy.
When the woman answered the phone and after explaining what 111 had told us to do as it was quite Urgent, she gave a reply of there was no point in coming in as there would be no one to do an ultrasound scan. This baffled me as surely if there's an emergency there should be someone to check if the baby is ok? Anyway as she continued to battle on with her seemingly disgusting attitude. She said I'm no ectopic specialist, but I highly doubt it is an ectopic pregnancy. Oh I was disgusted.
My pains and concerns carried on. So regardless off what they said the next day I took myself to the hospital. The staff I met just all looked so miserable and it was like it was impossible to crack a smile and also mostly all seemed to have a stinking attitude. After waiting nearly 3 hours to be seen to I was sent home with a box of tablets to ease pain (which still aren't helping).
I was so concerned how my little one is doing because I have not had one ultrasound yet as I am still waiting for an appointment to be made. It was worrying that they did not seem worried to see how my baby is, if it is still alive or anything after experiencing such pain that had symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy. So now I just have to play a waiting game and hope for the best that my baby is doing just fine which I pray he or she is.
I certainly won't be giving birth to my gorgeous child in such a depressing and unmannered place, full of people with apparently stinking attitudes. Ormskirk hospital here we come: )
