I have prostate cancer and had part of the affected area removed. I was admitted to hospital and operated in January 2009 and was home two days later.
This I thought was rather quick and I should have been in hospital for at least a further day. The middle aged nurse who removed the catheter, pulled the tube out in one quick sharp pull. In my opinion it should have been done slower. I am now finding difficulty in controlling my flow and having to use pads.
