"Thank you for your outstanding care"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Plastic Surgery & Burns (wards 45, 47, 48 & 49)

(as the patient),

I just want to thank the staff of Ward 48 and 49 at the Glasgow Royal infirmary for the outstanding care I received during my admission to the plastic surgery unit for surgery on my Jaw.

I just would like to thank the staff of both wards for the care I received especially when I was feeling low after my operation on Tuesday.

I work in a small team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde which seeks to involve patients and carers in the work of the NHS. The biggest part of my role is in managing feedback projects across the Board area, one of which is Patient Opinion. It is my job to give our patients and carers the opportunity to give us feedback, and to make sure that this is passed to the right people to help us improve the services we provide.

I am so pleased to hear that you had a positive experience during your recent stay on Wards 48 and 49. It is fantastic to hear that you felt so well cared for by our staff and they will appreciate the time you have taken to give them this feedback.
