"Precedure for taking bloods as an inpatient"

About: North Manchester General Hospital / General medicine

(as the patient),

When a person is admitted, why is it that doctors don't know when to stop trying to draw blood?

My doctor tried eight times on the same arm and I nearly passed out. She was still unsuccessful and then called someone from the blood room to do this.

Please, North Manchester general doctors and nurses, don't do this. If this caused any scars, I would have sued you for negligence no doubt.

After discharge, I looked like a boxer and I felt stupid and cheated for allowing the doctors and nurses trying to constantly insert needles in me.
