"Total Knee Replacment"

had TKR in november last year still have pain it is still swollen and sore and we are now in september 10 months later and i have not been able to work since as my understanding after the op they either staple or stitch or steri strip your knee if someone could confirm that with a answer from the hospital please, only mine was not any of them it was just left open and even after 4 days in hospital it was still like a big gash with blood i was sent home on the 7th day with not the right pain killers as i found from my gp no follow ups for phisyo and the first time my surgeon wanted to see me was march thats 4 months after. so i would be grateful if you reply with some answers please.
