Was recently admitted to the hospital through the A & E as an emergency MFU referral from my GP. My care from entering the hospital was excellent, with the doctors carefully explaining what was going on and what they were doing. I have had occasions before where I have waited in agony, with nurses refusing to give me basic pain medication, for nearly 18hrs to see a doctor and this visit really restored my faith. My care on ward 29 was also excellent. The nursing staff were kind and considerate and very helpful and I was made to feel very comfortable on the ward. Since the reason for the illness has still not been discovered I am now being treated as an out patient. Again the follow up, this time provided by the ENT team, has so far being excellent.
